Review of Abbott’s Bakery GF Rustic White 500g
Our #2 rated sliced white GF bread sold in the major supermarkets. Good bread that’s hard to fault.

What we thought
Abbott’s Bakery Gluten Free Rustic White stands out straight away with its neat, square shape and even slices. It looks more like a traditional sandwich loaf than many gluten-free breads, making it feel closer to the real deal.
The addition of molasses is a nice touch, giving the loaf a natural, slightly yellowish tint that avoids the stark, artificial whiteness of some competitors.

The flavour is fairly neutral, with just a hint of rice flour in the background—something most people won’t notice once it’s combined with other ingredients.
Texture-wise, it holds up well, delivering a soft bite without crumbling.
