What we thought

San Remo Gluten Free Spirals came in a close second in our GF spiral pasta review. It scored top marks for both taste and texture. If you want a great-tasting dry pasta to toss into the pot, this is our recommended option.

An iconic Aussie brand? Yes. But….

This gluten-free pasta is produced in Italy, costing it valuable points for local production and ingredient sourcing. If the product ever gets made here in Australia, it’ll bounce up to the top-ranked spiral pasta (of the products we tested).

We noticed the pasta cooked faster than the others. This was likely due to its higher starch content compared to flour-based products.
